During times of uncertainty and crisis, people come together to support one another. COVID-19 is a new test of our collective strength.

Our friends at AMEN have put together some resources to help your family and you.

Coronovirus Anxiety Workbook (PDF)

City of Austin Resources

COVID-19 ATX Exchange, A project of Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. This platform brings together experts, innovators, and leaders to create community solutions to critical COVID-19 needs. 

Dell Medical School Coping Resources – Social Work – List of local and national resources created by Dell Medical School Social Work Department. The department has organized a resource toolkit to help manage anxiety and provide self-care information.

Integral Care Emergency Services – Integral Care is open and providing services, following CDC and APH guidelines. For urgent Adult and Children Emergency Mental Health Services: Call 512- 472-4357 before you arrive so they may complete a brief health screening.

CommUnityCare For individuals without insurance and experiencing symptoms, contact at 512- 978-9015.

Central Health – If you have symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) and do not have insurance or a doctor, call the COVID-19 Hotline at 512-978-8775.

Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) The ARC COVID-19 Information and Advice Hotline is open 24/7 at 866-453-4525. The hotline provides advice on self-care and treatment recommendations.

Austin Disaster Relief Network Coronavirus resources for spiritual assistance, preventing the spread of coronavirus, access to food, rent, mortgage and household services and childcare.

Austin 3-1-1: City of Austin ambassadors are ready to answer questions or assist with issues regarding City of Austin departments or services – available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Resources for Renters: Help with Eviction or Displacement Eviction prevention and homeless programs help low-income tenants with legal assistance, emergency grants for rent or utilities, alternate housing, short-term motel vouchers, or placement in a local shelter.

What to do if you are Unemployed due to Coronavirus An article of companies and restaurants currently hiring and how to file for unemployment.

Austin ISD is providing curbside meals for children under 19 and their families at 70 locations, Monday-Friday. See the website for locations.

YMCA of Austin homepage now serves as an online hub for community resources ranging from home exercise options to educational resources and guides for those who need help. Visit the website to access tips to stay healthy in mind, body, and spirit, and to learn ways you can help your community even as you stay home and work safely.

Self-Care during Social Distancing
