In honor of the late Tressa Berry, who shared her journey boldly and unapologetically while and serving as a member of our conference planning team, we are excited to offer opportunities to present posters at the Central Texas African American Family Support Conference.
Posters will present information by an individual or representatives of a team. The poster should focus on topics of a journey towards wellness, recovery, and/or professional development. Topic ideas may include personal recovery, research, and/or program outcomes.
- Lived experience poster presentation should provide information including Background, Experiences, Journey, Treatments and Recovery/Wellness Strategies.
- Professional poster presentation should be structured as: Background, Methods, Results, and Discussion.
Please review 2020 CTAAFSC Poster Guidelines before applying.
The abstract should include: Poster Title, Topic, a brief summary of what attendees will learn from your poster, Poster Presenters and/or Authors including Organizational Affiliation if appropriate, and Disclosure Statement for use of material not owned by you.
The Conference Program Committee will notify you if your abstract has been accepted by January 6, 2020.
All presenters accepted for the poster session will be able to attend the two day Central Texas African American Family Support Conference. Registration is required but will be free of charge.
